"Panigang" at Armin Z's house after the Bisikleta Iglesia : April 9 and Subic ride taken up

Real Cyclists

Bloomingdale Homes, Angono, Rizal, PHL  March 28, 2013 12:30 pm

Hungry Recyclists cleaned out the food in x minutes!? Some came back 3x?

The Recyclists leadership decided to have a "panigang" lunch at the residence of Armin Zapanta (thanks to Armin and wife) right after the last Bisikleta Iglesia visited -  the Angono church.  There was a chip in (patak-patak) and I decided to join this after my family who said we were to have visita Iglesia too and lunch did not answer my SMS.  (The restaurants would surely be closed in order to avoid paying holiday pay which is 2x the regular rate)

There was a meeting and the agenda were:  ride to Subic, and riding marshalls for DOT 2B (Balara and Bilibid) araw ng Kagitingan (pagsuko)

The group agreed:   subic  -  April 20 -21 overnight.  There would be scout mission who will dry run the route and look for board and lodging facilities.

For the April 9 ride:     3:30 assembly;  4:00 departure for UP.  Ride starts at 5 am.  There will be no entry fee for the marshalls;  other joiners shall be charged.

The "panigang" consisted of the following:   very cold water, bananas and mangoes, rice, "balaw-balaw"  fried fish (I never got to taste this), and of course "sinigang na bangus sa miso"

Engr June, Jeff, and Ben (who has pabasa) did not join the meeting.

Those who did not join the Bisikleta Iglesia were:  7 days, Papa Ric, Sec. Noah  Allan

Thanks again Armin and to your kind wife.

Trooping to Armin's house after the last Iglesia visited:  Angono church

Lunch at last:   Jayjay and Armin (the cyclist in the middle)VM(?) at the right

The meal the Recyclists are about to partake

The early birds eat first and get the best portions

Ado scooping up the sinigang na bangus

And the fish, sinigang are gone, gone, gone.
