Manay has a new panaflex sign

Only Tito, Edgar, Jess, Prez and Luis rode up to Manay today in Pakil Laguna at 930 am today.

I woke up at 5:24 this morning and was late for the 5:20 assembly at the Sacred Heart Parish;  I must have arrived at 5:45 and only Joel Jess and Luis were there.  When we were to depart after the mass started, Armin and Master arrived.  It drizzled a little bit up to Darangan but the shower was gone at Cardona and Morong. Edgar joined us at Cardona.  We bypassed Simples lugawan as agreed and stopped at Pisong Kape.  It rained when we arrived there.   I was 300 meters away from Pisong Kape when the rain poured.  The rain stopped in about 10 minutes.

Then we biked up to OL where we had Buko.  Then we went straight to Famy.  I had trouble with my sprocket which is I diassembled 3 days ago;  it was loose.   Edgar and I were behind from Bugarin and we caught with the peloton in Mabitac intersection.

We had 1 and l/2 orders of pansit and 2 packages of Buns for our merienda lunch.  It was sumptous though.  We left at 10:30 and by 11:30 we were  2 km to San Miguel and Jess experienced flat.  We were at Pisong Kape by 12:30 and by l:30 in Morong.    We were home by 2:30.

One interesting part of our ride was that we caught up with Jestoni who passed us by in Sacred Heart church, in Morong, then he tried to pass us again near Simples.  We caught up with him on the way to Tanay;  he tried to pass again going up Bugarin;  we overtook him and he caught up with us by 10:20 when were in Manay all ready.

That was a 140 km ride;  70 km one way.   Almost same distance as Tagaytay.  But we came back early

Joel, Prez Luis and Jess were the early birds

Armin and Master E came later but did not join the long ride;  because of the shower?
