Our Cavite Host riders could have shown more grit and determination at Ternate yesterday December 1 2013

Wheels of Happiness

Angono, Rizal  Philippines  | December 2, 2013

Our Cavite Host Bike riders showed up at Gen Trias, but they disappeared at Km 60 at Puerto Azul.  They got off the bike at Km 57 and stopped. And considering that we were all ready biked more than 80 km! Not one of us stopped or got off the bike.

They were nowhere to be seen at Mt Palay Palay nor at Kaybiang tunnel.  (Is it the reason why we had problems with our lunch.  I doubt whether lacking in grit and determination, they could push through with the Calarbazon ride.

Along the flat road they were completely outclassed, with the Recylists cruising strongly at 30+ kmh (despite the Richard crash.)  They were seen at about 3:30 at the Naic (Governor Drive)

Jorgeusbiker did not have to be rescued, nor had to ride the service vehicle.  He might be behind for a couple of minutes but he would arrive.  And he was late because he took pictures.

We had DNF:   Nanding, Edgar, and Vic.  More stamina needed.  More training.

Restback tayo guys next long ride
