Angono, Rizal Philippines | Easter Sunday April 20 2014
Look at the traffic, going to and from Skyranch
This bus near 7 11burned and the fire has to be put out by chem fire extinguisher; scary; we abandoned the place and parking slot because we might catch fire too; or be hurt in an explosion
Maybe because it was Easter Sunday, we got only and handful of participants:
Jess V, Gerry Y, Joel J, Master E, VM, Chito F, Nolite, Richard A, Ado G, Val and Jorgeusbiuker. Because of the traffic (and the burning bus, we were not able to proceed to SkyRanch Jeff and Luis were with us at the assembly but did not join the ride. Val was not initially with us but caught us at C6
Richard leads the group in prayer before departure in front of Taytay Hall
At Metrobank Daang Hari, the usual pit stop
Val, a cycling Pro (from the province) chased us at C6
Jeff rode to Baguio with 2 others last Thursday and Friday via Marcos Hiway. Tsk tsk they had to walk past the tunnel to Green Valley.
We reached Tagaytay early though at a little over 11:00 (at least for Master and I) but others may have reached the city some minutes earlier
VM and I just arrived; Nolite and VM inside 711
The only official pose in Tagaytay
Gerry Y relaxing inside 711; so refreshing to cool off
Joel is all smiles after a hard climb
Chito fixes flat in front of siomai joint

Recyclists rounding the rotunda to go to Dasma

Drinks and some bread at Silang bakery
Someone wants to go while I was finishing my drink
At Greenwoods (Niyogan)
Something is wrong with Coolpix, at Niyogan
We thus got down at about 11:30 so that we would have lunch at Dasma. Somebody cancelled the plan we had to ride down Silang, and at Daang Hari. Nerves were frayed at this point. It was decided that we would have lunch at McDo Daang Hari instead of usual snacks at Petron.
Richard complaining about cancellation of eat at Dasma
Refilling water bottles for ride at Daang Hari; it is hot
Hungry bikers line up at McDo in Vista Mall
Gerry had two orders
Jess and Chito; Jess ordered two sets too like Gerry
Master with VM
Master E - solved
BFF package plenty of fries

Recyclists relaxing at McDo
Chito and Master E enjoying the extra fries

Master E and VM at McDo
Departing for Alabang Zapote roadd and service road
Thus we went there but Alan, Ado, and Nolite did not join the group at McDo.
We left at almost 2:30 and were at Bicutan near Camp Bagong Diwa at past 3:00 where we learned VM met accident. He bumped into a MC that suddenly turned left at Sucat without signal. His carbon fiber wheel was damaged and his shin was injured.
VMs Colnago was a casualty at Sucat in an accident
VM got a flesh wound on his sheen
Mat lifts VMs bike for Recyclists to see and examine
VMs carbon fiber wheel got stuck between wheel and muffler, this is the damage; and this rubs at his brakes.
How we wish as we mentioned in the other post if our MC brethren were more careful!!
We were a little bit early though and we were mostly home before 5:00 pm.
Happy Easter
