King Richard
I biked today and it was late setting out at 7:00 am. I passed by the Sacred Heart Church, prayed and asked for the blessing of the priest. I brought my Bianchi bike today. I passed several MTB at Darangan, and Montevideo. There were no other cyclists until past km 55. After that there were two bikers who chased me: one roadie, the other MTB, and the other one Bubuy who appeared at km 57. I biked ahead of the MTB in white and green jersey MTB in black and red jersey. And Bubuy up to km 59. The guy in MTB (friend of Ed Valdez) told me that I was "Ang lakas" for my my age because we were doing 35 kph and up and he could not get past me.
Then I stopped at Pisong Kape and met the other bikers: Master, Val and Chito. They said they were there some ten minutes earlier. I had lugaw and brewed coffee of Chris (great tasting at P30 per cup) And then others who rode to OL appeared: Jess V, Edgar (7 days) Angel B (on a MTB) Alan A, and Jericho M, Richard A, Joel J, Nolite and Gerry C. ( 12 in all, I was the 13th) Weng B later joined us
Then we rode back until Maybancal. I was left behind with Val (a couple of seconds) for we too were speeding. After spending some time at the Maybancal barangay hall, drinking cold water and some conversation, we biked home.
Four of us decided to try the Cardona diversion: Alan, Richard, Weng and I. On the way up I was ahead then Richard, Alan, and Weng went ahead of me. I was able to chase Richard, and Weng past Crystal East entrance, and Alan past the last summit before going down. Alan retook the lead as we descended. He was ahead of me uphill by some 50 meters and he lost me going down from Montevideo. Chito Jericho and Jess who passed by Cardona were suddenly behind me and Chito and Jericho overtook me and I chased them again. At Calumpang highway, I sprinted and overtook the two but later retook the lead at Island gas.
It was great Sunday ride with hill climb and plenty of sprints. Great way to keep fit

As a result, the Maybancal barangay building collapses (ha6)

Bike ride today to Morong and Teresa - February 20, 2016
Wheels of Happiness
Rizal Philippines
February 20, 2016
I rode to Morong today, using my SARS Ultegra Bike at 7:15. The bike is equipped with 53 - 39 front chain ring and 12 to 28 cogs. I was a little bit bothered by that since these are relative hard gears compared to MTB I rode. I was in Morong at about 7:50. On the way a group of 8 riders caught with me in Cardona. However, I chased them and actually overtook all of them at Callahan 3 passed me near the ice plant. and I was about 30 meters behind them as we approached the Morong town proper.
At Maybancal, Simples lugawan the faithful Recylists were there: Jess, Armin, Luis, Meong, Edgar, Vhen, Vhal, and Smith were there. Smith went somewhere else. Edgar was left behind and we decided to go via Teresa. The large 39 gear bothered me and the tight front headset bothered me. I led the troop going up until the resort where the Halimaws overtook me. I was at the rear end with Pres Luis and Vhen. On the way up until the Ayala housing, I led Vhen until China bank.
We spent some time at the Antipolo church before going home at about 11:00 am. It was great ride and great time to be with other bikers. It was first time Armin rode a road bike again. For 10 months he said he rode MTB all over the place for fun and adventure. I could understand why. For this ride he also had 39 front chain ring and was ahead. I should not have been bothered by the thought that it is a large gear.

Recyclists ride back to Angono yesterday May 2 2015; temp was at 40 again en route from Daang Hari to home
Wheels of Happiness
Rizal Philippines May 3, 2015
Ready to leave for Angono from Manangquil beach resort in Nasugbu Batangas
Pacman lost to a better more talkative fighter. Will there a rematch for even bigger price money? We are all suckers to as P.T Barnaum said and may be Bob Araum. Nothing is free now; only PPV to view great fights and even $10,000 ringside seats. Thanks to all the hype, events become more expensive
So we rode back yesterday to see the fight. We decided to leave early, considering that the ride back from Tuy was all uphill - 20 km and the heat would sap all our strength. So we decided to sleep early May 1, 2015, wake at 3 am the following day, and leave at 5:30
Most of us woke at 3 am and we had great breakfast cooked by the resort staff. Pritong tuyo, scrambled egg, 3 in 1 Nescafe, and fried rice - left over from last nights dinner of rice and sinigang na buto ng baboy
By 5:30 we were all ready. We left at 5:40 after the prayers. (Someone remarked that Nolite who used to rush people to leave was there - that was me. Defensively I said we agreed on that and it was a duty to remind every one of the agreed schedule)

About Pisong Kape posts/articles
Wheels of Happiness
Rizal Philippines | December 8 2013
It is the Feast of Immaculate Concepcion today
I interviewed the lady owner of Hacienda Pisong Kape
Cyclist from Angono Rizal Mike Francisco inquired how come his picture appeared at a search for Pisong Kape, We told him, I did the post. For Jorgeusbiker. Our head banner features Pisong Kape at the right hand corner.
I saw that today, Hacienda Pisong Kape has new tiles on the floor. The owner told me it was financed by the bumbay 5/6. But it was good decision to improve her store for the cyclists who frequent her place on weekend. The other food stores there in the vicinity which do not improve do not fare well. The owner knows which side her store is buttered on.
When I googled Pisong Kape, I saw that most of the images were Posted by this site, Jorgeus biker

It is the feast of Immaculate Concepcion today.
I rode side by side with Ben today, after I overtook him in Bilibiran. He was riding tempo, a recovery ride. He complained to me that I did not post any picture of him in last weeks ride to Ternate. I was not sure whether that was correct but anyway, I am posting his pictures for make up.
He is more senior than me but a very fast and strong rider.
I was able to take these pictures because I got ahead of him in Callahan
Before going down to Pisong Kape in Pililla

Congratulations and thanks to our Recyclists bikers who joined us in long rides this year
Wheels of Happiness
Angono, Rizal, Philippines | December 2, 2013
We thank Pres Luis Genavia, and the material support and guidance of fmr Vice Mayor Jun Vic during the entire year of 2013, who saw to that we Recyclists were challenged, and we did our best to improve our endurance, strength, and speed. During the year we were simply awesome.
Running at 40 kph from Morong to Pisong Kape, every week end was awesome. And so with our long distance ride that were soooooo looooong. Baguio ride from Manila, the Lemery ride, and yesterday, the Ternate ride. These rides attest to the accomplishment and achievement of our Recylists riders.
May this site suggest that by the end of the year, the riders be given certificates of achievement for the rides that they have undergone.
This way, these small certificates, signed and sealed by our President and VM Jun Vic

It rained before 6 am, and yet many biked; the day was fine today November 10 2013 for a bike ride
Real Cyclists
Angono Rizal PHL | November 10, 2013
Nolite, Gerry, Jess, Abet Amora and Jorgeusbiker
Despite the strongest typhoon hitting the central portion of the PHL last Friday, and many deaths reported, weather was fine the entire day. There was slight drizzle at around 5 am. But rain stopped past 6 and we biked.
The Recyclists gathered at Simples Lugawan and went to Pililla. I got a flat before KM 52 in Baras. Nanding assisted me and we were able to follow some 5 minutes later.
We got ahead to meet his neighbor and friend whom we are trying be in business with.
Young riders, starting young
Only fun run? NO race? No prize money?
A trike spewed the smoke before Lagundi, Morong
The rider I was with from Tayuman up to Morong told me there was race. I said I do not know about that. And I was gamely trying to keep up with him. He was trying to show off. Fortunately, he was not able to leave me far. But when we reached Morong, there was no race. Only a fun ride from Morong to Bugarin

Angono, Rizal PHL | November 3, 2013
My very late bike ride today took me to Pililla Rizal. I was in Morong by 9 am, and I met the Recyclists at Lagundi furiously riding on fast clip and rode up to Pililla by 930. I had my lugaw with egg there and biked back by 10 am. I was passed by the Taytay cylists who included Boyeth, at km 55. I stayed with them until Km 53. And then they disappeared on the way down from the Tanay cemetery hill.
I was in Morong by 1030 and happened to meet Mr. Boots Rayos del Sol, who says he is a computer programmer working in Eastwood. He has Cervelo bike shod in AmCla with Conti tires.
However, he seemed to have left me after we initially met at Maybancal; I was stuck in traffic in downtown Morong. I did not see him anymore until I saw him nursing a flat in Bilibiran. I stopped and lent him my tire irons (este plastic) to remove the tire from the rim. By then it started to rain until 1145. We rode back when the rain stopped. We took picture in front of Sacred Heart Parish in Tayuman

What is latest buzz on Real Cyclists?
Real Cyclists
Morong, Rizal PHL by Jorgeusbiker | February 10, 2013
What is the latest buzz on ReCyclists?
These are the things I heard (just hearsay?)
*There are those who would like to buy the latest Recyclists uniform.
*All that they can do is watch and read our posts and blog; they have no centralized social media - kanya2; they wish they had too.
*The other groups would like to have the uniforms just like the Recyclists;
*The other groups would like like to join us in long rides.
These are not going to be just hearsays if we meet and finalize plans especially for long rides. We can become stronger and united. Can we?
