Wesluk, Gerry, Netoy, Meong and Alan
Ed and Al, we left as soon as they arrived
The Recyclists rode up to Tagaytay City today, leaving Angono by 6:10 and arriving 7:30 in Angono (we were waiting for Ed de los Reyes and Al Alegre who were with Jorgeusbiker and Weng Balubar by 5:00 pm near Bicutan intersection. The two claimed they were just some 100 meters behind near the Condos on the west service road. (The group waited for them for nearly two hours. Jeff looked for them but failed to see them. We attempted to contact them by text and call but no one answered)
On the other hand, the group thought that JB got lost: they waited for him at Highway 2000, at waiting shed of in front of Camp Bagong Diwa and 711 in Alabang. However, JB lost sight of them upon take off and thinking that the group turned left to Baytown rode in that direction. The leadership failed to inform him that they would pass at MEG instead.
And so thinking he was left behind, he rode faster. When he looked at his phone, there were 13 calls and several texts. He was all ready in Balibago, and the rest were still in San Pedro, some 30 minutes behind
Those who joined were:
Gerry Cataps
Meong
Jess Verchez
Weng Balubar
Angel Balubar
Pres. Wesluk
Gerry Cataps
Jorgeusbiker
Netoy Mariposa
\Ed de los Reyes (7days)
Al Alegre
Jeff Arquiza
Alan Astorga
Peter Anonuevo
14 in all
Master and Joel showed up, but did not join
What was new that Tagaytay climb is now via Sta Rosa, and descent is via Aguinaldo highway which is much simpler to navigage and faster.
Angel, Jess, Joel, Meong in front of Iglesia
Netoy and Gerry
Gerry and Weluk taking snacks some 2 km to Tagaytay
Some nice looking furniture (and very expensive too)
A senior thinks, rides, solves problems, repairs bikes, thinks discusses about other sports. What senior should do to keep fit

Recyclists ride back to Angono yesterday May 2 2015; temp was at 40 again en route from Daang Hari to home
Wheels of Happiness
Rizal Philippines May 3, 2015
Ready to leave for Angono from Manangquil beach resort in Nasugbu Batangas
Pacman lost to a better more talkative fighter. Will there a rematch for even bigger price money? We are all suckers to as P.T Barnaum said and may be Bob Araum. Nothing is free now; only PPV to view great fights and even $10,000 ringside seats. Thanks to all the hype, events become more expensive
So we rode back yesterday to see the fight. We decided to leave early, considering that the ride back from Tuy was all uphill - 20 km and the heat would sap all our strength. So we decided to sleep early May 1, 2015, wake at 3 am the following day, and leave at 5:30
Most of us woke at 3 am and we had great breakfast cooked by the resort staff. Pritong tuyo, scrambled egg, 3 in 1 Nescafe, and fried rice - left over from last nights dinner of rice and sinigang na buto ng baboy
By 5:30 we were all ready. We left at 5:40 after the prayers. (Someone remarked that Nolite who used to rush people to leave was there - that was me. Defensively I said we agreed on that and it was a duty to remind every one of the agreed schedule)

C6 is now passable but for bikers....
Wheels of Happiness
Rizal Philippines October 27, 2014
Contrary to our fears, C6 is passable and they must have patched up the holes. There is however a continuous length of about a meter wide excavation (at the Bicutan side there are numerous portion of cave ins)
It is still dust filled at the portion (about 500 meters) approaching the Napindan bridge that is pock marked. It can cause your teeth to fall off or can liquify your brain due to strong vibrations. (This is where I lost my nose pad?)
That is good news for many motorists fearing C6 and our past posts....
They need to complete the repairs though

The Napindan Channel Bridge at C6 - Short Cut to Bicutan, Sucat and Alabang
Have bike, we will help save the earth...
These are the views of the Napindan Channel at C6. There are duck raising farrms near the banks, there are ambulant vendors near the lakeshore and plenty of entrepreneurial activities.
The Napindan channel is where the Laguna Lake connects to the Pasig River. It is where they regulate the flow of Pasig river water (which is brackish) into the Laguna Lake, or drains the Laguna Lake into the Manila bay when the Laguna Lake water level is high (as it is now). There are flood gates which regulate flow of water.
So usually in the morning, when it is low tide in Manila bay, water from Laguna Lake flow to Pasig River. When it is high tide, the gates are closed.
So it is a good place to fish because there are plenty of manine and aquatic animals being carried by the flow. All you have to do is cast the net.
So you see a lot of fresh catch being sold by fish vendors here.
Duck Raising Farms
Plenty of Entrepreneurs Before the Bridge and at C6 Roadside; they used to be at the bridge.
More Entrepreneurs by the Lakeshore
Angel at the Napindan Channel Bridge Enjoying the View
Note the sign that says No Vendors Allowed; they used to clog the bridge
Gerry riding the Napindan channel bridge
