Bike ride to Morong and Quarry Road

Wheels of Happiness

Nagquarry road ride after going to Km 47 in Morong.  Then rode to DOMSA via Quarry road.

On the way to Morong, tried to race mga nakasabay:   isa sa from Cardona to Morong, 2 at Namay.   Also overtook one elderly MTB rider in Pag asa.  On the way back, overtook a similarly aged MTB rider at Diversion in Cardona, then another one going up LLDA at boundary of Binangonan and Cardona

Now all my legs and thighs ache after the racing and hill climbs

Rode up to Cardona KM 40, then went up Kasinay via Macamot using large (52) chain rings

Wheels of Happiness

Its Sunday and rode light today -  up to KM 40 in Cardona.  On the way back, I tried again my legs to Macamot and  and Kasinay using large chain ring.   I stalled in one of the climbs and walked about 10 meters on large chain ring.   For the rest of two climbs where I did tulak, I shifted to 36t chain rings.

My calf and thighs ache now

Nice bike of Boyeth

Wheels of Happiness

Rizal Philippines
December 20, 2017

Yesterday I rode to Morong.  On the way, I heard the usual greeting that Boyeth saw me.  As I was riding back to Callahan I saw him and then at Cardona, at a traffic, somebody saw him all ready.  He turned around fearing it would rain (it did rain later on)

But I saw his nice bike and I requested that I inspect it over a cup of coffee He did.  It really looked like an Orbea with a 105 group set bought from VM (only at P10,000)

Ang gara ng bike ni Boyeth.  Tuhod na lang namin ang iuupgrade.  Ha6

We Rizal Recyclists riders, just finished the Bisikleta Iglesia 2017.  We started out at Sacred Heart Church at 6:00 am and finished the last church  Angono St Clement Church at 11:40.  We capped the ride with a lunch, boodle fight at the house of Jess Verchez in Villa Gloria from 12:15 to 1:20.   It was a great day for penance and sacrifice (except the boodle fight) to bike that long and under the hot summer sun (in the 30's)

There were 14 of us who joined the ride:
