Recyclists Long ride to Pagsanjan Yesterday August 31, 2014

Wheels of Happiness

This was scheduled last Saturday, August 30, 2014.  But  it did not materialize because there was slight rain in Cainta, Taytay, Angono Binangonan (there was none in Cardona and Morong as we found out.  Pres Luis also said that when they rode out with Jess at 8:00 to Morong and Teresa there was no rain.

5:30   -   I was at Sacred Heart

Since the instruction was to have pit stop at Pisong Kape, I went ahead to Pililla.   I was there at 7:20. I had my Lugaw there and banana.   There I saw that the Camp Bagong Diwa camp officers had a Mt Bike ride to Bugarin

8:00 The rest of REcyclista arrived:   Master, Ven, Gerry, Nolite, Weng, Joseph, Choco2, Jayjay, Ven Jess, VM. Weng Aspog.

8:30   We rode to Bugarin.  I took the picture a subdivision caravan  before the ascent, and was left behind until the crest at Bugarin. I was behind by 30 meters near the Mango trees and about a hundred by the time we were at km 69.

                  There were about 30 tricycles and 5 jeepneys

9:00 We rode down to Mabitac.  We took a brief rest in front of the waiting shed after Angelito Roans resort.  we estimated that we were some 20 km to Pagsanjan;  10 km to Manay, and from Manay, 10 km to Pagsanjan

                        Weng had a flat and his interior is for 303 a long valve (I said just like the owner's)

10:00  We were at Manay's in Pakil.  We decided that we will eat lunch on the ride back from Manay

11:00  We were at Pagsanjan. We prayed and had some picture taking.

12:00 We rode back to Manay.  Most of us were lowbatt and had low blood sugar.  We arrived at Manay at about 12:45.

1:00 We had lunch  At 1:30 we departed for Bugarin

                     We had to rehydrate, and we partook:  pansit and fried chicken

2:00 We were at Bugarin.  We rested again at the waiting shed.  We kidded about riding tricycles up to Bugarin.  At about 3:00, Choco choco collapsed.

3:30.  We were at Pisong Kape  But it rained.  We started to ride at 3:45  (I had an appointment at 4:00 pm)  I had the other party warned that I would be late

4:00 We were in Morong.  Still raining hard.

4:20 We left Morong.   However, when were in Tagpos, and in Barrio road, there was a long traffic jam.  There was flood at Barrio Road in Pag asa. Cadburry colored mud were all over the place.  I was very late for the appointment.

5:40 Arrived at Angono. We were all wet and shivering
