Bike and Save the Earth
I woke up early and met, to send off the fellow bikers start their ride to Baguio. I was there at 4:30 am, later than the agreed 4:00 assembly time to take their pictures and send them off. Surprisingly, there were l5 in all despite the absence of Luis, Joel, Ben, and Smith.
Those who were at the starting line this morning were Chito Francisco, Tito, Master Edwin, Angel, Allan, Gerry Cataps, Nolite, Master Edwin, Armin, Richard, Peter Anonuevo (new) son of Netoy, 7 days, Secx, Diego (sumuko ka na) and VM. Wow that is a great number.
They said a little prayer, and will be at Santolan church shortly. They took off at 5:40, ten minutes behind schedule.
They were advised to have buddies, ride as a group and as a peloton. They were suggested to stick to the Tullahan Tandang Sora route for safety (avoid Edsa).
They were encouraging me to load my bike so that I will be forced to go to Villasis tonight and ride with them tomorrow. I said we will see.
Paying for the Damage/Dues to Richard (blue Jersey): son of Netoy, Gerry, Angel, Allan, Edwin, VM, Diego, Nolitem /back of 7 days (Giant orange jersey) The mit guy back to camera is Chito
Son of Netoy, Gerry and the bikes in front of Jollibee Unishoppe

The bikes taking a breather before the long ride

P.S. You have to excuse the shot because the flash is malfunctioning
Latest update: From what I heard, they were in Angeles by l2:00. Somebody got a flat tire and the supply vehicle got lost and found its way to Nueva Ecija (Gapan? They must have failed to make a u turn in San Fernando Pampanga at the Flyover?)
Updates: The 206 km ride took them 8+ hours or average of 23. kmh yesterday.
Today, they were at Rosario La Union by 9 am. They rode from Urdaneta to Baguio.
