Biking in the Rain

Bike and Save Your Health

When we started out from Angono, there was slight overcast.  There were light shower (pin sized raindrops) until Morong and until Tanay.  Just before Pililla, there was a shower until Pililla, (pisong kape)  The group really planned to bike round Jalajala and all was set that the elders would go home.   But as this was communicated to the young and agressive ones, the young ones said it is only up to Manang and no more.  This blogger changed his mind and joined the young ones:   Gerry, Angel, Luis, Armin, Tito, (young once), Richard, Allan, Nolite.  But l km into the ride from Pisong Kape, it started to rain really hard.

We stopped at View Deck and had buko (now P20.00@) but we had to hurry back because there was wind chill factor and it was getting cold.  As we got down, we said to everyone to slow down.  Brakes were gone and traction, steering was bad.  Many said, that we would still see them at Pisong Kape because they would have been rained out.

True enough, when we reached Pisong Kape, the elders were still there:

The elders were not able to leave
