The Ronda Pilipinas, now on its third year started last Saturday in Zamboanga City. It will be 21 day 16 stage event covering 2,200 km. It will end on February l, 2013 at Baguio City. The Ronda has been joined by 12 teams with 96 riders. Its race director said Joaquin Yabut, will promote not only cycling (its sponsor - LBC) but local tourism. The race will cover 32 major cities.
