Happy New Year. No work. There is supposed to be gathering of Recyclists _2010 today at the the house of VM.
While resting, I had the opportunity to watch the replay of Ms. Universe contest held last Christmas eve which was eventually won by Ms. USA.
I watched only the portion where the question were asked by the 5 questions by the judges to the 5 finalists. The finalists were Ms. Vanuenzuela, Australia, Brazil, USA and PHL. Ms. Brazil was asked about the swimsuit use and being treated as a sex object; Vanenzuela - what law would you like to be passed and why? USA- what thing that you did and that you regret? PHL - is knowing English necessary to be Ms. Universe. (I did not get very well question to Ms. Australia - she answered about being happy)
Ms. Vanenzuela was not so sure of her answer. She said all laws have been passed; all you have to do is self mastery. She did not answer the question.
USA was also not clear on what she did that she regretted.
Ms. Brazil said that it is how you project your personality and it does not matter what you wear: gown or swimsuit.
Ms. PHL had the best answer: It does not matter what language you use if you want to be influence others in the universe. She had the best answer.
The ladies were all stunning and the interview must have been just one of the criteria for judging. But how they were judged are correlated to their interview answers.
We are amazed and truly proud how Ms. Tugonon answered the question, in a direct and SMART way .

4th runner up - Ms. Brazil
