In the recognition period last night, it was mentioned that the Recyclists are not just recreational weekend bikers but biker to contend with. Richard mentioned that the actual time on bike spent for the 280 km journeys is only 8 hours.

The Angeles city to  Tarlac ride, a distance of  39.2 km took the paceline only one full hour to travel.  They were doing 40+ km (even 45 kph)

The Urdaneta ride to Rosario (a 34 km distance) took only a little over an hour to ride.  When I took the bus, it took the bus 45 minutes to cover.

The ride to Baguio Lions head (a 35 km distance) took l hour 30 minutes (a good part from 9 am to 930 was photo ops.  We arrived at Camp 6 at  11 am and Lions head by 12 noon.  Another 30 mins for photo ops.  That is why we reached the view deck by 1 pm.   All in all the total ride from La Union would be 2:30.  (It used to be 3 full hours)
