Bike for Health
Although fatigued and lack sleep, I tried to make the most of my ride. I rode with 50 x l5 gear, and tried to pound my way up the hills. It was my hard gear day. I stood up when the pedalling rate was going down. Somebody tried to race with me at Callahan. He was 34 x 23 but I beat him to the summit at 50 x l7. And he tried to keep up with me at the flat. I was 50 x l5 and he said we were at 37 kph. That was not bad.
I am beginning to get used to pedalling big gear. Maybe I can do 40 by early next year
