Thanks for the moral support from fellow Recyclists in today PNP sponsored race

Wheels of Happiness

Rizal Philippines
March 6, 2016

                               Many of the Recyclists were in this area of the diversion

I heard them and saw only a few of them while focusing on the task at hand - to finish the 4 loops of the rather challenging Binangonan - Cardona loop. -   Montevideo, Callahan, Diversion, LLDA.   I saw Meong, Jess, Jeff, Vhen, Sec Noe, Armin, Val,  and Master. Sec Noe who texted me na manonood lang, gave me a dousing of water and Cobra drink.  Special thanks to Pres. Luis for informing the other Recyclists about this event and dragging them to the race route.

Thank you.  Your presence gave us more courage and determination to finish the race which was our only goal and to beat other riders.    Well we achieved them (Tito and I).   We completed the four loops, and a good half of the field especially members of the command, did not finish the course. (race)

Tito suggested the following:

1.  That we strengthen our Recyclists;  that we demand certain commitment and loyalty to Recyclist.  NOT EASY COME EASY GO. That we have more meetings and motivation

2.  That we join more races, and that we are properly represented by the group, rather than by individuals (Papa Ric is in many races collecting bounty for being the oldest)

3. That we give full support to the participant, like bike, or MC and other logistic support.  Mambog Biking Club, he said has enviable support for its team mate who joined this race.

                                       Sergeant Major Tamondong of Antipolo

Before the start of the race/registration at SM

                                       Registration was 4 to 6 am

                                      They campaigned for a SAFE election;  plenty of speeches

To All Our Recyclists Friends, Happy New Year, Cheers!

Wheels of Happiness

Angono, Rizal, Philippines |  December 31, 2013

Today is the last day of 2013.  Looking back to the year (that was 2013) we had undertaken some extreme, very long, difficult, challenging, thigh burning, long busting rides:

1.  Manila to Baguio ride
2.  Angono to Lemery ride
3.  Angono to Kaybiang tunnel in Ternate climb

These were true tests of our endurance, speed, determination, courage, equipment and our character.
And we all passed the test.  Not so many bikers could do what he had done.  We belong now to the stratosphere of real bikers.

For the first time in my life, I could call myself as a Real Cyclists (Re Cyclist)

I started out in cycling as a therapy for painful back legs (rayuma).   A doctor head of PT in  MM hospital prescribed to me a bike as a cure to an ailment that would make a paralytic.  Lo and behold, after two weeks of biking on a P3t mountain bike, my rayuma was gone.  My mobility was back:  my blood chem became normal:    uric acid and cholesterol.   The BS went down but not much.  I had to do more.

I ended up with five bikes;  I sold my mountain bike.   The two others were given and/or sold.  I have three;   the two others are spare. You never know when  you get flats as you leave house.

Some Interesting Stats on this Blog

Have bike, we will help save the earth... I am preparing for my easy ride today and I am looking at this blog site stats. Some interesting notes on the stats:

l. Only 50% of the visitors are from the Philippines; the other half are from abroad;

2. The top visitors are from the Philippines, USA, and Russia;

3. Blog posts on travel destination, churches, food are well visited

. 4. Our top post last week was the accident at Siniloan between a bicycle and a big motorbike. I hope this is a wake up call for safety.

I am trying to figure out why the stats are such?

This blog stat for visits is well past 2000. Thanks for the continued interest of the dear readers. God bless.

Thank You for Visiting My Blog Yesterday, Aug 7, 2011

Yesterday was a great day for the Jorgeusbiker blog; more than 70 guests visited this site. That was amazing. It took almost 3 months to reach the 500 mark. And what was remarkable is that most of the guests are from the USA. Thank you sirs/mesdames. I appreciate your visit.

Anyway, I had plenty of posts, videos and slides from slide share. New materials were posted and am too become very interested in my own blog. More research is needed to make this blog more interesting.

Thank you again for the visits.
