Many biked yesterday; many got heavier for not biking for 3 weeks

Biking and health

Many biked today.  But I am quite surprised at the changes in fellow bikers physique

Richard, Tito, and Pareng Luis looked they are heavier by say 5 to l0 lbs for non biking?

Nolite says his cholesterol and other blood chem were higher.  Again for non biking.

A lot of things happen to our bodies by missing out on weekly rides.

We hope weather will get better.

I rode back via Teresa and went to Antipolo church.  It rained while in the Antipolo church.  From 9 to 9:30.   Was home by l0 am.

July l7 ride for recylist 20l0 around Teresa

It is a great day to bike today.  The rains finally stopped.  Almost all the recyclists 20l0 members appeared at the Barangay Hall of Maybangcal for their usual dose of lugaw with egg, cassava cake and Mountain Dew.  However, we could not go to Pililla or Bugarin because dark rain clouds were visible at the horizon.

We opted to ride to Teresa instead and maybe go to mass in Antipolo.  We were glad, Amigo came back again and more enthusiastic than ever to bike.  We talke plenty about the tour de France and the lot of misfortune for the favorites - Contador had 5 crashes!!

On the way to Teresa, some guys had flats, and Mang Boys free wheeling hub stuck open - he could not pedal.  Fortunately a tricycle agreed to take him to Antipolo at the repair shop for a hundred bucks plus.

Then we stopped at the China Bank Antipolo (it is diagonally across the repair shop) rested for a while and then heard mass at the Antipolo church. We met a lot of friends from Taytay at Antipolo church
