Best ride picture on February 3, 2013

Biking and health

No one voted on the best picture of the ride.  I voted for these:

Best posed group picture for February 3, 2013 ride

Biking and health

There were no comments or votes as to which is the best group posed picture. So I make my judgment.  Everybody was there and the Recyclists all look great. This was in China

Was I riding better or they slowed down for picture taking?

Biking and health

I feel better and great as I biked today;  maybe as a result of the Baguio ride.  Endurance and speed were developed.  As we climbed Callahan and Richard accelerated, I shifted down and kept pace, even a he stood.  I was ahead of him at the peak but was faster at descent.  He did maybe 40 on the straightway;  maybe I did 35 but I could see his back until AZ overtook me and he even kept up with Richard.

On the way up to Teresa, from Sucol (they stopped for a pee) I kept ahead.  Richard got my camera and instructed us to slow down but I pedalled on.  And I was ahead  until the last ascent up to Robinson until they all attacked.   But I had my day in front.

My body aches now and feel sore all over.  I think I gave my best shot in the ride.

Two very special bikes

The two bikes leaning on the Felt while parked in China must be worth over P50t, quite a fortune:

The Felt bike initially said "Ouch! You too are leaning on me!"

Dogma and Tarmac said  "We are light very light and we can not hurt you"

"And we are foreigners.  Dont you like foreigners?   Dogma is an Italian, and Tarmac is an American"

"Oh I see, I dont mind"

Both have durace group sets,  carbon fiber wheelsets, and all carbon frame probably each one weighing less than l5 lbs.  One is a Pinarello Dogma, the most beautiful bike in the world, accordint to You Tube, and the black and red is a Specialized Tarmac.  The owners both live in the same subdivisions and the Felt bike doesnt seem to mind the leaning

Our handsome fellow biker overtook me near the old municipal building and I could not identify him because he used to have a green fork.  But the guy had a red fork and I could not associate him to any bike with a red fork.  It turned out that he finally brought out and rode his new Specialized Tarmac bike with Durace groupset, and Look pedal.  He had matching new carbon fiber shoes to boot and new uniform.  The old silver screen star looks, speed,  and strength fits new package.  The price of the bike is secret...

Just the gorgeus bike posing without the owner

What is your comment on this new bike?

How much do you think it costs?

Please comment.

Angono, Rizal Philippines  |  February 3, 2013

Thanks again to Richard who is very much gifted in taking pictures of companions while in motion, we have been able to post stunning pictures of Recyslists in Motion.  Never have we been made so proud and so often.  Now we can say for sure that we ride and show our wife and children, friends and office mate how great we look when we ride, especially in our new and very dear uniform (di pa bayad!!

One of rare times that Jay was ahead

My comment:   We do not need to go to Baguio or far away places to have great looking rides.  Only Richard can take such great pictures.  Before, our rides were not photographed and they all looked routine to us.  Now with great pictures, our ride look attractive, colorful, vibrant inviting and liberating.  Now Engr. June will join us more and so with other riders.  Come join Recyclists more often in their rides.

Thanks again Richard for unselfishness on your part taking these great looking pictures
