Antipolo City, PHL |  February 3, 2013

Pres. Luis called for a bike ride today to show off the brand new uniform,  and to go to church of our Lady of Good Voyage in Antipolo and to have the uniform blessed.

At the Antipolo church, the Recyclists resplendent in the new uniform, attend mass to thank for the uneventful trip last January 25 - 26, 2013.  With the group beside VM is Joel who celebrated his 25th birthday last January 25 (but sent us bibingkang masarap), Engr. N.B.  special thanks to Richard for the splendid and great pictures taken while climbing Teresa.  Richard, you made us look great and handsomer than you.  For the first time ever, we feel like we are ten feet tall, and even stronger rider than Lance Armstrong, who can ride hills or fast, if he dopes... We dont dope but  we have great uniform and we ride great.

No one can describe the feeling and pride we have we with these pictures, Richard.  We know you were tired doing this, but it was worth.  Thanks again.

New use for used briefs?

Biking and health

In 5 Star Apartelle, pareng Luis was cleaning his bike's sprockets with a very surprising common item:   his old used brief garter.  He used the garter to clean the spaces between sprockets to remove the grime and dirt.

Brilliant eh.  Why dont you try it?

So do not throw your old briefs with tired garters.  You can have new use for it in biking.

My two bikes ascended Baguio last January 26, 2013

That may be strange but true.  My two bikes made it to Baguio City from Urdaneta city last January 26, 2013.  These two bikes were:    White GTS, and Black Fuji SL - with campy group set and Mavic wheel set.  Jess rode the GTS;  I rode the Fuji.  It would have been just the Fuji;  but Jess bike's fork was discovered to have broken in Angeles city.

At Urdaneta, at 5 star apartalle, Jess sheepishly pa inquired if you could borrow the GTS.  Since I brought two bikes;   one was a spare just in case like this, this was easily agreed to.

So, that was  a great feat for my bikes.  Three bikes had gone up Baguio.  The one left behind, a SARS bike, made it to Baguio 2x

Jess sad after learning that his bike's fork is broken; the kitchen fork will not do!
