Some of the lightest bikes are Fuji SL bikes

Fuji SL 2.5

Fuji launches superlight bikes
I rode to Jalajala today on a Fuji campy with Cosmic wheelset. The  repainted reassembled is not yet road worthy (having some problems with bottom bracket)  I said earlier that I was a fool wanting a Scott or Wilier not realizing that my bike is much much lighter than those mentioned.

I rode with someone who has a Fuji SL too (much latest version) with Durace.  and he  advised  me against disposing off the Fuji bike.  Sayang.

Fuji has consistently been in the list of lightest bikes. Their latest is only 695 grams and they together with SRAM red produced at sub 5 kg bike.

600 grams frame and  sub 5 built bike 5 figure price

N.B.   I tried to lift a famous Italian bike with Cosmic carbon wheelset and Durace group set. I would say it must be over 8 kg.  My Freccia with its 1,435 Novatec wheelset  would be lighter (sub 8 kg estimate)

Repair of my Campy Ergo Shifter

Wheels of Happiness

The Fuji Bike with brand new Clark bar tape; it is expensive

During the Bisikleta Iglesia last Maundy  Thursday, I brought the Fuji bike with Campy group set.  VM, the former owner of the Campy and the frame, and the Cosmic wheelset, saw something was amiss in the bike:  the shifter.  There were wires protuding from the shifter.

He suggested that I had it looked into and repaired.  He had problem before with his Campy and it was stuck and the Christy mechanic spent almost an hour having it unstuck.  He went to Christy last Saturday with Ven to buy a Mavic wheelset.  So I lost the opportunity to have it inspected and repaired soon.

Master burning the back burners; taken from the Defender 110

Two MTB riders flying:   Diego and Secx;  they must be exhausted with the heavy bikes

                               Gerry K tops and Wesluk

Choco2 all alone in front;   he would soon melt and fall back?

AZ riding very fast;  all in a blur - a very strong consistent rider!

Dogma leading the Jess GTS (my bike) Why is my bike fast when somebody rides it?

                                VM pacing the peloton

Richard blazing the road for Gerry;  his speed blurs the photo

Wesluk sucking the rear wheel of Armin

                                   Wesluk resting?
