Antoine Huby pinatag Bessang Pass, Kalikasan Rd at Mangatarem and Kennon rd ride

Wheels of Happiness

The foreign riders  weathered the hot weather and the steep climbs and dominated the local riders.   Those who did were barely domistiques of TDF teams.  One such rider was Antoine Huby who flattened the mountains of Bessang Pass, Kalikasan of Mangatarem and Kennon rd.    I know I could barely complete Kennon.  He must have ridden this at 54 chain rings.

Congratulations.   Our riders will prepare hard for you when there is ntext TOL...

As riders too we celebrate with you your victory and your quest for long life and good health

Great appreciation to the organizer and sponsor, MPTC for financing for this huge undertaking and continuously waking up the nerves of bikers in the Philippines and making our riders more competititve.  Thanks to the riders to the commisarries, to the HPG patrols and all others who made this undertaking a huge success

Galedo now third; that he is the virtual champion announcement was premature ejaculation?

Wheels of Happiness

Angono, Rizal Philippines

Lapaza

Mark Galedo of 711, and so his team dropped to third place in the 13th lap of Ronda to Morong, Bataan. Lapaza from Mindanao is now No. 1,  with 12 secs margin, and Pouly No 2,  18 seconds ahead.  Very slim margin.  Galedo was outstrategized by the the leaders.  He was left behind, and maybe the team work of the opponent was stronger, and his weaker.  It is a very slim lead though that may steill be overhauled today.  7 11  need to be organized in today's crit at Marikina (Heights) to get back at #1 spot for individual and team standing.  Teamwork and strategy is still the name of the game at crit.

Galedo two laps away from Ronda International 2014 Championship?

Wheels of Happiness

From Philstar February 15, 2014

Mark Galedo of 7 - 11 team the overall leader of LBC Ronda Pilipinas International biking competition maintained his Red Jersey standing at the finish yesterday at Clark Freeport zone in Angeles City.  Thus, instead of red roses he gave his lovely wife Red Jersey instead.   Today takes them to 13th stage 149.1 km  with  hill climbs at Morong Bataan. (Category 3 and 4 Climbs)  Sunday is 89.1 km  criterium at Marikina City

Galedo came in 7th in a group   in the the relatively flat157 km lap from Agoo La Union 3:30: 59.   He stuck to his strategy of keeping close to his opponents.   He grabbed the lead from Sandy Barranechea of Phil Navy from Antipolo to Lucena at the 6th stage and never relinquished. the lead.

His total time stands at 40:21:26.   A major accident can only prevent Galedo from making a peat.

His opponent  Ramon Lapaza # 2 Pouly  #3  had times  40:23:24;  and 40:24:  54.

7 11 whose whose team manager is Bong Sual is at number 1.  We know Bong Sual personally. He is from Taytay and a major supplier of 7 -11

Do you think, we who run only 30 kph join Ronda in 2015?  Maybe they should have this type of Ronda in 2015 for categories like this

Our bike ride yesterday to Tagaytay City July 28, 2013

Just entered C6, that is Master e to the left and Joel to the right

We rode to Tagaytay City yesterday.  We left early, we rode fast and reached Tagaytay City earlier than usual:

I was at assembly site in front of INC by 5:10  Pres. Luis, asked us Gerry.and I to go to Taytay;   Master E joined us at CME.  We were there by 5:30.  First to arrive was Ado and then Joel.  The bulk of the riders arrived by 5:45 and we had to wait for Gerry Y.

We left Taytay at 6:00 am and we were in Bicutan before 7:00; were in Daang Hari by 7:30 and were in Bacoor by 8:00 am. Our snacks/breakfast was at Aling Bert. We were in GMA by 9am.  about 10 am, we had lunch at 11 am at Paliparan near GMA (near Wilcon) at 11 am at RJ and even enjoyed some Videoke singing there, and we were at Daang Hari by 12.  However, from Daang Hari, Master E had flat and I assisted him  We were in Alabang by  1 pm however it rained so hard and we were marooned until about 230.  At Alabang master had flat again.

I was with Master and assisted him in flat at Daang Hari (the 2nd flat) and at Alabang (at Belluvue hotel)

We left the hotel by about 2:30 despite the rain.  The wind though had subsided

We caught up with the group near Jollibee in Bicutan just before C6 by 2:45  They said Nolite had left for Angono.  We took off at 3:00 pm.  I caught up with Nolite at  the Highway 2000 bridge. He said he had to bike slowly because of the splatter.

I stopped to take picture of the leachate at the Taytay dumpsite.

We were in Angono by 3:45.  I dropped by Puregold to buy some drink.  I was tired and and thirsty
