Galedo two laps away from Ronda International 2014 Championship?

Wheels of Happiness

From Philstar February 15, 2014

Mark Galedo of 7 - 11 team the overall leader of LBC Ronda Pilipinas International biking competition maintained his Red Jersey standing at the finish yesterday at Clark Freeport zone in Angeles City.  Thus, instead of red roses he gave his lovely wife Red Jersey instead.   Today takes them to 13th stage 149.1 km  with  hill climbs at Morong Bataan. (Category 3 and 4 Climbs)  Sunday is 89.1 km  criterium at Marikina City

Galedo came in 7th in a group   in the the relatively flat157 km lap from Agoo La Union 3:30: 59.   He stuck to his strategy of keeping close to his opponents.   He grabbed the lead from Sandy Barranechea of Phil Navy from Antipolo to Lucena at the 6th stage and never relinquished. the lead.

His total time stands at 40:21:26.   A major accident can only prevent Galedo from making a peat.

His opponent  Ramon Lapaza # 2 Pouly  #3  had times  40:23:24;  and 40:24:  54.

7 11 whose whose team manager is Bong Sual is at number 1.  We know Bong Sual personally. He is from Taytay and a major supplier of 7 -11

Do you think, we who run only 30 kph join Ronda in 2015?  Maybe they should have this type of Ronda in 2015 for categories like this

Grace of Phil. Navy, A Duathlon Athlete

Real Cyclists

I took the picture of this young fine athlete, whom I met at Pisong Kape. I took the courage to introduce myself to her saying I will post her here in this blog.  She said her name is Grace and that is into duathlon.  I guessed from her uniform that she is from PHL Navy.  She seem to be well tanned and well trained.

Nice meeting you Grace and more power to you.  May you inspire other ladies to bike and be well

A unique restaurant set up by Grasya at Greenwoods Cavite

Biking and health

We left Tagaytay at about 1130 and we had hoped we could eat lunch at Bikerspoint along Greenwoods in Silang.  We were in Silang at about 1200 noon and were at Greenwoods at about 1230.  We nearly missed  this little restaurant of Grace:   Kainan ni Grasya.  Well her tarp was small and eatery facade was recessed and could not be noticed.  The fruit stands were more visible.

Her eatery stands on top of free flowing creek and her food are excellent and priced reasonably.  It is fantastic.  She said she has a rank of chef and studied culinary arts.

Should be called Creekside Kainan, or Kusina sa Creekside?

She is now moving into catering and events.

Her restaurant, if you are coming from GMA is some 300 meters from the GMA Greenwoods intersection and about 500 meters away before Greenwoods.

You can contact her at +639193352527 if you would ride to Cavite/Tagaytay and would want some food prepared before hand?
