Visited Uncle who had an eye operation

Wheels of Happiness

This post visited an uncle (he is 4 years older than me being the youngest among the brothers and sisters) who just had an eye operation (laser operation;   he got a new lens on his right eye)  I just wanted to know how he was doing and among other things  we talked about:

      1.   His association with a former mayor and son of big food manufacturing firm in Pamapanga;
      2.   A kababayan head of ABC in a city who was influential at SBMA
      3.   A kababayan who earlier did well at SBMA;
      4.   The 200 hectare of so property  that they could not touch in the said province
      5.   Business opportunity for a high value tree farming.
He was happy2 that I visited him.

Some products:
1.  Veteber oil and grass
2.  Ylang ylang fragrance
3.   Agar wood
4.   Elemi from Pili nuts

Ben is excited about the endemic plants in the Philippines.   Ylang ylang and veeber quality in Phil is good

Early Posting of our Long Rides - June Bday celebration at Gapo

Biking and good health

This coming June, there will be 6 birthday celebrants.  And there is a planned ride from San Fernando Pampanga to Barretto Subic..  The group will bike through SBMA for a while, and then rest overnight beach resort at Subic and the following day, we will ride in the vehicles.

However no definite date has been made yet.  Engr. June suggested that the announcements be made earlier so that they can be properly excused from their offices earlier.

Mayweather Cotto Fight Abbreviated Our Rides Today May 6, 2012

Bike and Save the Earth

  We had to go home early to watch the Cotto Mayweather fight

Cotto fought hard,  he was better here compared to Pacquiao fight but....

I just got an FB post from our Pres. Luis Genavia announcing a bike ride to Sierra Madre, via Sampaloc. This would be a challenging ride.  Riding up Sampaloc is ride.  Then from intersection of Sampaloc up to the Bureau of Soils should be a long climb.  Afterwards, its all going downhill from Tanay to Foremost;   to Boso Boso is uphill and then the climb up the Olalia drive. VM, who said he is now the Scouting Council head for Rizal and NCR, plans a ride to Subic/SBMA from San Fernando Pampanga come June.  Another June birthday celeb:  there are 6 in all June birthday celebrants.

Yesterday, we just did a ride to Pisong Kape and then rode back via Teresa Antipolo with Joel.  Everybody rode back early because of Cotto Mayweather fight.  We all knew that Mayweather would win in order to set a stage for Pacquiao Mayweather fight which draw in a lot of interest.  A Cotto Pacquiao fight would be a non event.

However the bloodied nose of Floyd and the boos from the crowd spoke well of the heart and fighting ability of Cotto.  It was a close fight I believe.   Cotto got the respect of Floyd.

Today I met Ben and Kuya Boy at the Lakeside park.
