How many have ridden from Angono to Baguio City and who have certificates to prove it?
Almost half of the Recyclists 2010 are not joining the ride this coming January 25-26, 2013 despite earlier announcements. Of those joining 3: Secx Noe, Engr June Francisco, Jorgeus Biker are good for one day only.
Some suggestions made:
l. For the one day only joiners, they will pay the whole amount (you waste the 1 day accommodations. So Jorgeus Biker was encouraged to cancel his Saturday class;
2. Those who will join the 2 day adventure will be awarded certificates of achievement with the picture at Kennon or Lion's Head. No certificates will be awarded for one day joiners.
Come to think of it: HOW MANY ARE BIKE RIDERS? OF THEM HOW MANY HAVE RIDDEN FROM ANGONO TO BAGUIO CITY? How many have certificates to show that they achieved this?
What do you think is the best proof that you are fit and strong and healthy - this bike ride is the ultimate test and proof!!
When will be the next chance to join this? Next year or never (next year you will have your alibis again not to join). Next year, there may be changes in your health or health of other members.
Can you do this on your own? This is the rare chance that you have the security of a group ride, socialization, and team vehicle.
Only our riders will have this distinction
3. The new uniform will be distributed on January 25, 2013 (those who will report for the lst day ride)

Recyclists "Panigang" Today courtesy of Armin Zapanta

Angono, Rizal, Philippines. Armin Zapanta's residence at Bloomingdale Homes. 12:00 noon. January 12, 2013. After riding to Morong, Rizal and Pisong Kape (easy ride at 40+ kph) we had the "Panigang" at Armin Zapanta's residence at Bloomingdale Homes. We waited for VM until 10:30 at Pisong Kape and then rode back; at exactly 12:00 we were at his residence. (By the way, to train for the Baguio ride, we passed through Cardona bypass: JorgeusBiker, Neto and Gerry Y were the sweepers. Fortunately for me, I led the sweepers)

l. Uniform - The new uniform will cost PHP 2,800.00 All will by default have imported padding. It will be available by January 24 and will be issued on the day of the ride.
2. Baguio ride
Damage - PHP 1,000 whether you join l day or two days.
Uniforms - The green old uniform on January 25, 2013. New uniform on January 26, 2013.
Teams. There will just be two teams (granted that there are only 14 participants) one for slow and the other for fast riders. The teams must bring own tools and spares: wheel sets, seats, or even a spare bike to speed up travel in case somebody gets mechanical trouble.
Pit stops: There will be 4 at distances of 43 km each. Marilao, San Fernando, Tarlac, Gerona (or San Manuel) Lunch will be at San Fernando or Tarlac. Pit stops will take not more than l5 minutes; lunch 30 minutes.
Schedule: Assembly is at 4:00 am. Departure is at 4:30. To achieve this, please bring your gear at January 25 evening to VM. Those with flashlights must bring flashlights.
