Great unpublished solo pictures at the Kennon Road portion of the 5th Baguio ride

Biking and health

These pictures were taken by Secx.  Thanks to Secx for lending me his file so that I can publish these at this site.  These are surprising  very revealing pictures.

I am thrilled by these photos...

This is some 5 notches away from the very handsome picture of Richard;  you can see how high we are;  look at the power lines.  We are above the power lines at this point. A victory and probably an inspiration for other Seniors rocking to ill health on their chairs at home. Photo courtesy of Secx Noeh.

This too would make it to the list of iconic pictures ;  VM looks very strong and agile on his Dogma Pinarello bike.  All the effort and expenses seem to be worth it...Thanks Secx for the great photo.

Looking very virile and very macho and very much like the celeb Master named him after!!Great picture. Look you are about to fly.and soar over the Lion's head!  We are proud of this shot and your ACHIEVEMENT ARMIN.  Wow! Something the world will admire.  Thanks for the Lunch Sir;  thanks to Secx for the great pics.

Gravity defying pose of Preng Luis (aka Barbula, Wesluk) despite a heart valve job, he continues to amaze us with his great rides and climbs. Congrats Pre;  thanks for leading us and staging this for the fifth time.  Photo courtesy of Secx Noeh. (you now join the ranks of great sports photographers)

Jess is on fire;  he makes me very proud of this GTS with Ultegra STI and durace chain ring; very agressive and very strong rider defying the gravity on the way up Kennon road. Thanks again to Sir Noah

Master (aka DV) showing why he is the Master. He looks very handsome without the helmet and the sports glasses.   He climbed Baguio 5x and does not show any strain negotiating this steep climb because he is a real master..  A true master not only of Baguio but of..... Thanks again to Secx for this wonderful shot of Real Cyclist

Jeff in his real element - climbing hills and mountain.  Another great shot from Secx Noe.  Thanks sir.

Choco2 young as he is shows that he can match the older and more experienced riders.  But he needs to be coached more and be disciplined if he has to become a great rider. Photo credit by Sir Secx Noeh

Archie showing what Viva Zapanta really means.  It means great rider and Real Cylist.  Photo credit by Secx Noe.

Gerry K tops with his great looking bike negotiating this turn from Lion's head.  The view deck is some 3 km ahead but very tough.  Kayang kaya though.  Thanks to sir Noe.

This is the best picture of the series.  The picture is at the side bar of this site.  It is the most admired photo of the unpublished photo.  The picture si clean and does not contain other eyesores or insects.  Thanks again Sir Noe.  Great shot.

First pic of JB;  it is not so good as the first one.  Wait is this photo by Secx or Jerome?  Thanks to you both.

Unpublished Solo pictures at Lion's Head at 5th Baguio ride - from Secx Noe

Biking and health

My camera completely lost power at the Lion's head and thus I was unable to post the more interesting pictures at this penultimate portion of the climb.  Now we can see this at this site;  these were published before at FB.

Richard in his signature new pose with the bike;  we are really improving even on how we pose!

Solo pictures at Lion's Head

These are the only valid and solid proofs that we climbed Baguio...These support the Certificates of Achievement.

Secx Noe in front of the camera;   the rest of the time he was behind camera and took these pics;  Thank you po Sir; and lending me these pictures to post and share.  Salamat sir.

This Cannondale bike does not know it is being replaced by a Tarmac;   the biker is a celeb!

Jb trying hard how to use the bike as an armalite?!

Another celeb posing before the Lion.

Is Diego Silang from the North?

Gerry K tops and his pamangkin Choco2 at the background

Another celeb in the making, he had lot of live fans at Rosario La Union, even more so at the web!

Preng Luis in his Higante pose

Jeff looking so serious underneath the Lions jaws

Archie was all smiles;   it was his first time to climb Baguio by bike?

VM, with his hands at the trigger of the Dogma Pinarello. I wonder how much it costs?  P30t?

The perfect pose at Lion's Head;  the entire head is visible;  Armin and his gorgeous Cannondale bike

VM looking trigger happy with his Pinarello Dogma

JB Fuji bike is also light?  Can not seem to find the trigger.

Can Richard startle the Lion?  He is trying to with his bike.....

The Lion did not budge so Archie and Richard tried shooting one another instead.

VM shifted his finger to safety mode....but Dogma is eager to shoot

Best photo of the 5th Baguio ride.

Biking and health

Do you like this picture? Very classic and very agressive. Very Recyclist ang dating!!

You can sense the ferocity and the intensity of the ride; the harmony and the oneness and unity of the group biking towards a destination that is unseen but which beacons;  that which is not easy but hard, challenging and which only real men can reach. (The peloton pedalling rate must be fast and furious and yet the paceline is tight and intact)

By the way, the leader of the peloton rides a Pinarello Dogma, named to be the most beautiful bike in the world

And yet there is danger all around... And they are unmindful of these all;  all they focus intently is the ride to Baguio.

As of today, this is the most visited article/post of the 5th Baguio ride by the Recyclist.  Hmmm, many like the picture

We had two units:   8 bikers in one unit;   the driver and crew one room, VM, Secx, DV and me in one room
