Another flat today

Wheels of Happiness

While others are basking in the glory of their lap victories, I had my share of back to back - flats.   I was able to replace the broken Vittoria tire with old edition of Continental.  However I got another flat at Mambog today.  And my plan to scale climbs vanished.  I saw Sec Noe again.  However, there was a vulanizing shop nearby and had the flat repaired for P30.00.  No need to walk 10 km.

Am awaiting my Chao Yang tires order from an electronic pllatform

Am tempted to purchase the Wheel top electronic shifter, with offer of P24k at an shoppers platform for 12.12

Wheels of Happiness

Am temp;ted to purchase on line the electronic gs Wheeltop at a famous shopping platform.  It is priced even lower at 24k (down from 27k, and from original 46k listed price)  This roughly just  $400 vs $700 listed price.

Its because the SRAM red shifter I have (mechanical can take in only 26t cogs max; the electronic can accommodate 36t (which I used to use).  And the STI hood is now loose and torn.   Its hard to find the hood for SRAM.

I can charge this to  my card.   Ha6

Be careful wnen ordering when enticed to buy at an E commerce platform

This morning I was attracted by a post at the platform that says a Magnesium Legged Manitou air shock cost P2,000.  It was too good to be true  (It was)

However when I clicked the ordering boxes, the P2,000 is only the control unit.  The whole merchandise which included the P2,000 was roughly P20,000.

Then there was this second hand part for xt hub for only P446.00.  However, it turned out that was only for a spoke.  The rest of the hub was priced at nearly P5,000.00

A 4 piston brakeset was listed at P5,000+ plus.  However that was for the 4++ seres,  For the 5+++ series, it is priced upon clicking nearly P10,000.

Is there no law governing truth in advertising pricing at the Mainland... Are they not subject to conform to the Price Tag law

There are so many posts like that so I may get tired looking browsing at the platform.   Are our yellow brethren that wily and smart?
