Bike frame carbon fiber manufacturing process

Wheels of Happiness

Rizal Philippines
December 19, 2015

There are variations in bike making process.  Some bike makers would have tubes stays made of carbon and then join them with special glue to some metal parts like BB or head post.  Others like trek would have integrated manufacturing process done with mold and air pressure or vacuum assist to make the manufacturing stronger and more aerodynamic.

Thus Trek carbon fiber frame can be below 1 kg in weight (2.2 lbs).  The water bottle (with water) weighs more than the fiber.

Ivler Nebres of 7- 11 team, top Taytay rider

                                   The Trek bike of Ivler

Remember Ivler  Nebres  of Taytay Rizal.  His brother was soliciting funds for the medicine for Ivler.  He was getting a very expensive shot of Immunogen, about 8.5t per shot.

He is fully recovered, a member of 7-11 team and a very strong and fast rider.  He shows great promise and is improving.  Peter says he is the top cyclist in Taytay now.

Trek Bike with Ultergra groupset on 12 mos 0 interest?

Biking and health

I met a fellow biker who has a brand new Trek bike.  He works in an LGU.  He has a brand new Trek bike which is aluminum and carbon fork with Ultegra groupset.  What is unique is that although it cost him P80,000.00 (which would be cheap it has the new Ultegra group set), it is  on 0 interest for 9 mos with Citibank or Metrobank card (I texted them and they said the 9 months deal only is available)
