Picasa album Slideshow of Recyclists riding last March 28, 2013 ride.

Real Cyclists

Rizal, PHL  |   March 30, 2013

This is the Picasa album slideshow of photos taken during the Bisikleta Iglesia.  They are some of the most numerous taken, only second to the Baguio ride and very impressive too.  Thanks to Richard for the nice pictures.  It takes great skill to take this photos and Richard produced so many of them.  How I wish this writer would be as good as Richard.

This is at the main featured post;  however, this post gives a permanent link in case you may want to see/preserve the link

Enjoy

For the last 3 months, I have been taking pictures of the bikes, most notably the expensive ones.  Let us view and admire them and enjoy vicariously:

Why this Jorgeusbiker site?

Real Cyclists

Rizal PHL March 29, 2013

It is Friday - it is time to reflect.  I am on a fast as part of my sacrifice for this day.  I am making posts to this site.  And it entered my mind why am making this post/maintaining this blog?  I am not paid for this, there is no sponsor and I spend time, effort.  I bought my own camera to make nice photo posts.

I do this because:

l.  I want to promote the activities of Recyclists so that it can inspire others to bike too and exercise;
2.  I want to promote good health and long life.  (When my father was very sick, he asked his doctor what is the cure?  The doctor said, "Exercise"
3.  If we exercise, we are fitter, and we save money from excessive hospital bills.

It takes a great deal of skills (unlike FB) to do a blog:

l.  Taking pictures;
2.  Editing the pictures;
3.  Write up
4.  Doing the picasa album
5.  Doing the slideshows
6.  Posting the slideshows

I love the Picasa album.  I has done wonders to make this site very very interesting

I think I am into something great, creating stories, researching many things, taking photos, editing,  for the good of bikers and athletes in general, and keeping the Recyclists more passionately interested in their biking and fitness, thereby helping them find more meaning in their life.  There is something to be proud of and look forward to as the post are made.  And when they see their pictures or stories made about them, they gain more bragging rights.....

Have a blessed Good Friday.

My little knowledge of photography and use of Picasa web albums have made this site more interesting?

Real Cyclists

I have noticed that even without new posts, the traffic to Jorgeusbiker site has been high.  Perhaps, it has something to do with the nice Picasa album slideshows, nice pictures I have posted, especially at the sidebars, and the links.

The pictures are clearer and sharper with the use of Nikon coolpix 12 megapixel cameras.  It takes sometime to learn how to use Picasa album to have slideshows (I ran out of capacity at Flick. R for almost two years now)  But it is worth it.

You can view picasa albums at the sidebar one by one in a large screen by clicking on the picture and view these at your convenience.  We have provided convenient links/click buttons as well for easy indexing.

It would have taken an expert paid blogger, or webmaster what I have been doing for Recyclists_2010 so far.  This is now a well visited and valuable site

I posted 1st, 2nd and third Baguio rides for comparison

Real Cyclists

Angono, Rizal, Philippines |  February 7, 2013

I increased learning curve for the use of Picasa album. I just synched the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Baguio ride. The slideshows have just been posted at the sidebar for the recollection and enjoyment of those who have climbed Baguio several times.

Now we can compare how great or worse we have become.

You will be amazed on how much time we shared and how many great experiences we went through.
 It looked as it was only yesterday....
