Recyclists seen at PTV 4 video clip

I met Richard tonight at Nemirandas restaurant and he told me about the Araw ng Kagitingan bike tour sponsored by Department of Tourism which lasted from 5 am to 1030. He said that the group arrived from Angono aboard a jeepney at 5:15 thereabouts. It was fast paced ride because by 1030 they were at Fort Boni all ready and having their lunch.

There were some minor incidents: Secx broke a spoke and Pangskie was a DNF - he got tired. Those who brought MTB had to keep pace with the speeding pro riders of Phil Navy and their thighs were sore.

The bike tour was featured at PTV and GMA. (I did not get the GMA feed from You Tube.) He said VM was interviewed and he was the lead biker.

The Recyclists join the Araw ng Kagitingan April 9, 2013 today from Balara to Bilibid Prison (B to B) sponsored by Department of Tourism as marshalls.

I saw them off this morning at 4:30 am. They had their bikes loaded at the VM truck driven by Timo but they took the jeep to UP. I am unable to join them because it is the wife's birthday and I had other commitments for today. (There are those who would join baptism today and have to beg off early [as Godfathers or principals?])

They had to hire a jeep going to UP after they loaded the bike at the truck
