How to be ready in case of heart attack a timely advice for seniors

It is a deadly condition and many do not survive the attack.   So the post I saw had preparations and countermeasures:

1.   Cough self  resuscitation:   breathe and cough

'2.   Have aspirin ready to remove clots.  Aspirin can take effect soon

3.   Make it easy for paramedics:   post your conditions near phone,  write your home address and unlock door.

4.  Make your home easily identifiable by rescuers to save time.   There is a very narrow window to survie a heart attack

5.  Ingest nitroglycerin under the tongue to vasodilate blood vessel and remove the clots.  

My daugther sa said it is not the post to watch before sleeping but I did.   It is reality we must face.

This is an interesting topic because for most of us, our children are away -  they are married have families of their own, some of our contemporaries have gone away for good.   Our classmates are busy with their apo and the same time we have many afflications.

What then would be your greatest support?  Its just you -  you and your mindset to be self reliant and self dependent.

What are some of the support:

1.  Self mobility -  that you can travel anywhere, reach things you want to reach do not need wheel chair or crutches.  Coming from your strong legs and body built over the years through constant practice and exercise

2.  Financial freedom -   shed off things you cant afford. Simplify your finances.    Do not be dependent on your children for bills payment.     Use cash instead instead of CC which needs monitoring

3.  Staying curious and forever learning.  Read.  Exercise your brain
