Luis had a valve job on his heart. He has a pacemaker, and regularly takes drugs to thin his blood. He bikes well and paces at 40kph regularly. Wonderful guy. He has a large scar at his chest to show the proof of the valve job.
Then you have Joel, who had a gall bladder surgery. And me having a nose job, after my bike crashed at the back of shangrila edsa mall, in front of starbucks, after my front tires was trapped at the dangerous gratings of the said mall (I wish they replace it with something less dangerous)
But the most unforgetable and unique, and maybe going to the annals of medicine is the case of Edgar. He was shot in the head right through the temple between the eyes and his frontal lobe and he lived to tell the tale. He even brought himself to the hospital.
To top it all, six days post op, not minding infection or relapse or pain, he had sex.... even with the IV cut still on, and nose fluid drain... Now anyone can beat that....Hehehe
