Could we wear a yellow jersey - never but can ride the same bike and crash harder than they do!!

I rode today up a steep hill  and watched afterwards  a video a clip of Pogie winning a stage and wearing a Yellow Jersey.  We could not wear a Yellow Jersey like they do but we can ride the same bike, experience the same pain as you race or climb a hill.   Or worse crash.

In some areas of our lives we can wear a yellow,jersey as a champ, for having achieved something of note.  but not the TDF Yellow Jersey.  

What is your Yellow Jersey in your life.?

Crashes end of career have been caused by spectators being too close to the riders.   How can the mishaps be reduced minimized?

Sometimes riders punch the unruly fans, or become physical

Crowd control?   Education?   Barriers?

Congratulations to the Tour de France Winner

Many favorites did not make it to the top podium finish of Tour de France.  To me it was a crash filled tour and those who made it to the podium are those who rode safe.  Earlier, I made blogs on riding safe. But at high speed ride, accidents are more likely to occur.

The crashes were the Tour de France 20ll winner; the crash victims were a pitiful sight...

You may be wondering why the pictures of crashes on the title Tour de France winner.  Why?  Because, the winners who came out were determined by their involvement, non involvement in crashes. That was the story of 20ll Tour de France
