Happy Mothers day.

This post has completed most of the wants for the MTB:

1.  Changed the tires for the SAVA with Maxxis Crossmark.  Supposed to be 600 gms only and about 400 gms lighter vs the former supplied tires;

2.  Installed the large cogs - 11 - 42 vs the 11 -36 rusting loose gears;

3.  Installed new III PRO rotor disc at the rear.  have purchased the front 180 mm upgrade;  just awaiting the adopters

I may go for 2by and remove the 44 chain ring and attach a Deckas wide narrow but retain the 24 chain ring  (so that I still enjoy very wide range of gears)

There are no more upgrades.   Just have to keep cleaning and polishing this.   

Upgrading front disc rotor from 180 to 200mm will up braking power by 30 -40% (wealth penalty only 40g)

Buying a quad piston brake will set you back by P9,000 k, with minimal 10 to 15% increase in braking power.   

Whereas, the disc rotor brake upgrade maybe 1,000 only with whopping 30 to 40% increase in braking power.  

What is your choice.?
