As we rode yesterday in Lagundi Morong going home from the Wind Turbine farm in Bugarin, Ven told me that my MTB tires were soft (under inflated?) I thought not because I sprinted several times and led the riders most of the way. I gave a run for their ride.
Well I checked today early morning and the tires pressure front and back were only 30 psi well below the recommended tire pressure of 65 psi.
I would make it a point that I would check the tire pressure before riding. I had under inflated MTB tires when I rode the PNP Binangonan Cardona loop race.

Super guapo and super macho pics of the MTB kapadyak I joined yesterday
Wheels of Happiness
Rizal Philippines
April 3, 2016
These are the memorable and superb pics of the MTB riders whom I joined yesterday to Bugarin Wind Turbine farm. I had to take some risk taking some of the pics while riding. For others, I have to ride ahead and wait for the riders to arrive to take their pictures: one at Callahan, one in Baras Tanay boundary, one in Biak na Bato in Pililla, and last one at OL:
On the way back, one was in Lagundi, and the final one in front of URS in Binangonan:
Admire and savor their great pictures:

One can not help but marvel at the high and mighty wind turbines. We can not describe with words the awe and wonder we have when we are near those electricity generating giants.
Here are their pictures:
The wind turbines are now a tourist attraction. There are so many visitors and many stalls selling food and souvenirs have sprouted near the entrance to the view deck:

Richard Ang invited me via FB pm, and I joined yesterday a group ride to Wind Turbine farm in Bugarin Pililla. Assembly was 5:30 Jollibee Angono downtown. Most of the riders were there at 5:30, except for Richard who came some 10 minutes later. We met up with two other riders from San Carlos and off we went. Our first stop was at Simples Lugawan (well they did not eat there) We rested there for 10 minutes. Nolite arrived there too.
Then we proceeded to Hacienda Pisong Kape, then to Bugarin. I had a chance to have buko at OL where I waited for them to arrive and then to wind turbine farm. There was a lot of picture taking and fun too.
One can not but marvel at the size and might of the wind turbine. They are all ready functioning but not interconnected yet to the grid. Sayang ang power. We went home by 10:00. We stopped at the Cardona Morong pit stop where we had some cold drinks (Lemon Soda at 10 pesos each)
In order to take their pictures, I had to sprint ahead of them, gain by say 1 to 2 minutes to set up for the pics. I was tired: one in Calllahan, one in Baras Tanay boundary hill, one in Biak na bato, and one at OL.

My bike ride this week
Wheels of Happiness
Rizal March 7, 2015
Last March 5, 2015, I biked to Antipolo Church. I met Jose there who said it was his first time to bike. Ever since there was a new mayor in Cainta, he was not so free to bike and arrive late work. That is good discipline.
Sir VM arrived with the 2014 uniform and the Dogma bike. We talked for a while and then I had to leave to report at 8:30 for work.
Today, March 7, 2015, I biked to Malaya. It is Saturday, and we have work, but I lacked the mileage. I did not stop at Pisong Kape nor at Pisong Kape, having taken my breakfast at Wawa.

Altenergy wind tubines up close and personal - new bikers and tourist destination
Wheels of Happiness
Angono Rizal, Philippines | March 2, 2015
Please visit Alt Energy
Yesterday my bike ride led me to go to the the 54 mW wind turbine project of Altenergy located in Bugarin, Pililla Rizal. 6 have been installed and the 7th one is being set up. The propellers are quite huge and the towers are huge and tall. The site itself is off limits to visitors.
The windmills are attracting a huge throng of visitors and tourists: bikers, MC, and car owners. No need to go to Ilocos to see windmills. Before in USA we saw a huge number in Tracy California. No need to spend $1,600.00 plane fare to go there! It is right in Bugarin.
To go to the wind turbine site, ride up to KM 66 (past the Over Looking) and turn left and up before the bridge KM 66 marker.
From Morong Cardona boundary, you can see the wind turbines (here are about 9 all ready that are up)
See it and you will be amazed.!

Collecting free wind energy with old bike wheel sets
Real Cyclists
From Tiny House Listings
You can put to good use old wheelsets and make them into wind turbines that can convert wind power to electricity. The projects mentioned just mention how easy it is to make a wind turbine; not yet on producing the electricity. For now, only house decors and novelty?

Bicycle wind turbine from You Tube (now with alternator/dynamo)
Wind turbine design also using old wheelsets
