Nolite Sulit celebrated his 64th birthday today in his new place in Kalayaan together with the Recyclists today. There were about 15 who arrived from Simples Lugawan in Morong Rizal at about 10:30 this morning.
Some of the important visitors included Engr. June, Papa Ric (who still bikes at the age 85) and Edgar (7 days)
I arrived at 1230 because I still went to work. The good thing was I had pansit and cake. They didn't
I learned this birthday celebration from Vhen Apran whom I rode alongside from Tayuman to Montevideo He said that Meong will text me when he reached Morong. Meong texted me but I was busy with the meeting.

Riding with Nolite to Teresa yesterday
Wheels of Happiness
Rizal Philippines
May 20, 2017
Yesterday, I rode solo going to Morong. Then all of a sudden Nolite appeared from nowhere he appeared in Morong. He said he would bike around to Teresa and Antipolo. I said I would eat at Simples and he went ahead. That was a mistake because Simple ran out of Lugaw. So I had to chase him. I was unable to catch up with him because Nolite is much much stronger now. I caught up with him at Teresa Lugawan. He was finished eating by the time I arrived. Right after eating we rode again to Teresa and Antipolo
I was ahead during the first part of the ride but after the first turn he was ahead by 5 and then 10 meters. I did not force myself to chase him because it was first ride to Teresa in say 3 months time. But he waited for me at Pag ibig. But I kept pace with him going downhill. We were home past 8:00 am (8:20)

Nolite and his apo at Wawa this morning
Wheels of Happiness
Angono, Rizal | Philippines | September 8, 2014
I met Nolite with his apo early this morning at Wawa. He was on his mountain bike and he had his apo (granddaughter) enjoy the early morning breeze and sunlight.
They wore no injury protection though.

My bike ride today May 22, 2014
Wheels of Happiness
Angono, Rizal Philippines | May 22, 2014
I rode again today, departing at 6 am. I used the Fuji SL bike with the newly installed ITM handle bar. I reached Morong by 7:00 am but I continued up to km 53 in Tanay. On the way I chased Nolite from he Tayuman and was with him before the Binangonan Convention Center. We were together until Callahan but he overtook me and was ahead of me by 20 meters till the crest. That gap widened by some 300 meters up to Cardona/Morong boundary but at Namay I caught up with Nolite. He turned left at Sagbat to bike to Antipolo via Teresa. I went to Tanay.
This simply means:
1. I am getting stronger; (I can give chase to Nolite and even keep pace with him)
2. I can give chase and cant be dropped very far behind
On the way back I met many Taytay riders like Bubuy. I also met Ven at Sagbat

All set for the long ride by Recyclists kapadyak to Lemery Batangas today
Real Cyclists
Angono, Rizal PHL | October 27, 2013
I just woke up and I am ready for the long ride this 5:30 for Lemery Batangas via Tagaytay. We will meet with other REcylists kapadyak at INC church in Angono at 5:00 am and depart by 530. I met Luis and Nolite last night near Nolite's place after I got the bike from Haooh; Boyeth fixed my creaking bottom bracket at the Fuji with Campy parts. He said the BB was just dirty and had the chains replaced with Campy chain set.
According to Pres Luis, the distance is 95 km. And it might be just 20 km longer than Tagaytay ride (one way) I posted eralier many information on Lemery.
We will have type A uniform (the gulaman, latest one) bring cash, and spare parts. The Suzuki vehicle will back us up
We pray for a very safe ride to Lemery. I hope we will have the usual number of kapadyak for this ride

My bike ride today October 13, 2013
Real Cyclists
I left late this morning, 7:30. As I have said, I had reserve interiors repaired by a vulcanizing shops. As usual, I went to the Sacred Heart Church. However, I stopped at Callahan (near Queen Mary) and the zigzag, and at Namay to take pictures of polluting vehicles. I posted them at Metro Manila Air Pollution watch Nothing results from the blogposts but I have to keep on blogging so that somehow, the public sector would take note and act.
I rode up to Tanay and after making a round about, I saw Nolite. He was biking solo and he said he biked to Jalajala. He was inquiring if I met the other REcyclists. I said no. I caught up with him at the hill between Tanay and Baras. He was just spinning and I found it hard to keep up. I said he go ahead because I would have breakfast at Simples. However by 9: 30 there was no more food left.
I looked for fruits in season and they were gone, just after one week.
At LLDA, I took pics of the waterfalls. That was about 10: 00 am. I was home by 11:00 and it was quite warm by that time.

Luis, Nolite, Choco2 and Armin
Pres Luis FB ed us and told us that we will bike to Mangga in Antipolo then go to Wilkies (a bike shop) to which I inquired - why (did something happen to any of the members of the family? No we will just go there and have the bikes of Armin tuned. Luis Master and Armin answered the FB.
On the way to the rendezvous point, which is the INC church, I met Richard, but he elected to go Morong instead. We waited until 7 for VM but he did not come. So we left at 7 and went up to Antipolo. Those who were with us were Pres Luis, Armin, Choco2, Jesse, Nolite and I. (our numbers are dwindling lately)
We were at Mangga at about 7:30 and we ate 27 php lugaw with egg. Master arrived later but he did not join us going down to Marikina because he might again break a spoke. Then we left at about 8+ and were at Wilkies by 8:45. But Wilkies would not open until 9:30. We left by 9: 15 and would go home via Ligaya and Manggahan. We saw a bike race in Calumpang. We passed by floodway and were home by l0:00

Baby and Nolite Sulit are not in the best of health?
Wawa, Angono, Rizal PHL | March 12, 2013
Many joggers this morning at Wawa
I met Aurora (Baby) Sulit, the wife of Nolite who was ill after Christmas at Wawa this morning . She had her morning walk here today She was hospitalized for a week after Christmas. I was not able to visit her. She says she is ok now. She said she ate a lot during the holidays and was stressed.
Her condition reminds us of this article regarding a single meal can cause heart attack! So we have to watch for what we eat all the time.
So avoid eating rich foods, and avoid stress.
Nolite on the other hand she said, is not OK. He was dizzy last Friday. She said Nolite has vertigo and advised him not to bike last Sunday because he might fall and crash.
I hope Nolite get well soon.

The ride to M of Atimonan, Quezon will be on November 25, 2012
Biking and health
Nolite told me this 430 pm, after our trio ride to Tagaytay, that our Atimonan ride will be on November 25, 2012. It is is so sad that after preparing so hard for this, I will miss, as with other rides of Recyclists 2010.
I had an earlier booking with the family to an out of town destination and the plane tickets and the accommodations have been paid for. Too late to cancel and rebook (A rebook is the same as buying a new package)
So sorry
