Sobra kalawang noong Lunes at Martes
Although I sprayed silicone oil 2x on my Bianchi Freccia, the chain showed signs of rusting as I arrived home Monday. On Tuesday, the rusting had affected the entire chain. I sprayed water again (gagalitin ang salt spray further) And then just as I was starting to remove the bottom bracket (ISIS type) as I looked at the FB I saw an urgent PM from Jess urging us as per advice of supremo to service the bottom bracket and the axle hubs. Di ko kaya ang sealed bearing. Sana Ok na.
I discovered too that the dust had caused looseness in the bearing of the BB and may get worse in next two months (due for servicing?) I polished the races of the bearing with fine 2000 sand paper. And hoped that the play will diminish. (Diminish pero meron pa rin)
So far, with diesel and detergent as advised, the rusting of the chain stopped. I hope others have serviced their bikes that came from Marinduque. Some fun, plenty of hard work after

We stumbled at White Sand Beach at Torrijos Marinduque; sub for closure of Boracay
Wheels of Happiness

April 11, 2018
Many visitors/tourists because it was a long weekend/holiday
In our bike ride around Marinduque last Sunday April 8, we saw (or were shown) white sand beaches of Torrijos. They are not as powdery. But can do. Besides malapit. Mura. Madaling puntahan. Di kailangang mar plane na mahal na. From Cubao or Lucena makakapunta sa Marinduque.
Weep no more white sand beaches lovers. Tayo na sa Marinduque.
Poctoy beach resort in Marinduque
Poctoy Beach resort from Tripadvisor
No sewage effluent yet, no E coliform bacteria, pristine
and clear water pa.
Slightly brown ang white sand
Mt. Malindig at Buenavista yonder
Biker tourist
And the fishing boat (sa tono ng Blue Bayou.... hmmm)
Burying the trash. Hehe simula na ng misuse ng beach
Politics politics politics at the beach
Parang Boracay din may mga water sports; hehehe
hahatak ito ng Boracay habitues

Minutes of our discussion last April 7, 2018 at the fellowship in the house of Sec Noe's in in law
Wheels of Happiness
Rizal Philippines
April 10, 2018
We had 3 bottles of Empi over which we discussed some matters related to Recyclists:
1. We thank every one who made our ride possible: Sec Noe for this ride, Engr June, and VM for their
generosity
2. We remember the good things our mission why we are: to stay healthy and strong and to help other bikers. And our commitment to Recyclists: to join rides and share with the group.
3. That according to Ado,, we are envied by other groups like from his town: because we are very consistent with our long ride yearly, and we have unique uniform that differentiates us from the rest. Many of the bikers daw are rich because the bikes are high end. Yes: that of Engr. June a Dogma, (before Look and Willier) Gerry Y - Dogma, and VM all kinds: Dogma, and lately S works Tarmac Many would like to join us. But we just dont take in members right and left
4. That to support our bike mates:
1. We gather our unusable parts monthly or quarterly and we ask our members to bid;
2. We try to source low priced carbon frames and wheelset which shall be offered to members in a plan
3. We have to source: test the durability and price. Look for financier. For easy to own plant. For this
JB and Engr. June shall prepare a business plan JB will draft one soon.

Unforgettable bike ride at Marinduque last April 8, 2018
Wheels of Happiness
Rizal Philippines
April 9, 2018
We remember the infamous fall of Bataan today. Our white masters left the Filipino allies to suffer at the hands of now their biggest trading partner Japan.
Panalangin after breakfast at Gasan
Today we just arrived from Lucena City after a very beautiful sojourn at Marinduque yesterday April 8. It was a very memorable ride: We did not ride from Lucena any more to home:
1. Umuulan
2. Wet biking shoes. Riding with wet shoes could cause the sole to separate from upper. It usually does.
3. Anyway it was a Marinduque ride not Lucena to Angono ride is not part of the title. Anyway, bonding iyon. Kaya ipinakaon ni VM ang truck which left at 5 am and arrived 9 am.
1. It was first time boat ride for some of the kapadyak. And with it the usual nausea and vomiting
2. Great views and places to see:
12 best attractions of Marinduque
Marvelous Marinduque
1. The Moriones images;
2. The great churces of Gasan, Sta Cruz and Boac
3. The Elephant Island (tobe renamed Marinduque island)
4. The Mt Malindig Volcano (1,000+ meters) at Buenavista
5. White beaches at Torijos (substitute for Boracay which will be closed for half a year)
3. Great food and many sponsors:
1. Dinner at Sec Noes place: sinigang, pakwan; breakfast: tuyo, pritong dried fish, and fried egg
2. Dinner at Ernies place at Sta Cruz: grilled tuna, pansit, chicken curry of native chicken; may pabaon pang buko
3. Pabaon ng staff nina Gerry sa Mitsubishi: chicken curry, pansit (kinain sa Star Horse ferry) at grilled tuna exactly the same fare at Ernies place.
4. Pahalohalo ni Ado sa Torijos. Birthday niya nang April 7, 7 pm.
5. Palunch ni Deacon Exequiel Diego sa Manay Quioniones pansistan at Pakil
4. Realities of environmental degradation. We saw dry river because an American mining company diverted the river flow.
5. Complete biking experience:
1. Hard long ascent especially at Buenavista and Sta Cruz
2. Long flats and chance for FTP from Boac to Gasan; speeding at 35 to 40 kph.
3. Ride along scenic coastal area;
4. Fast down hill at 50 kph from Buenvista (jarring road) and slippery descent in pouring rain at Sta.
Cruz
5. Biking with tight schedule to get the boat.
6. Riding up hills in driving blinding rain; and descending at slippery and steep hills. Parang Mt. Province ang steepness
6. Unforgettable stories and experience.:
1. Ringtone from snoring of tired pilot;
2. Getting a plastic full of shit to protect the cellphone. Yukks.
3. Tall waves at the boat going home causing some members to puke.
4. Getting mongo pellets in the face of another after choking.
5. Having a company of superbikes: 2 dogmas, and 1 sworks.
6. Rushing to catch the 4:30 boat up a steep hills (3 stages) at Mogpog. Umuulan pa
7. Somebody fell because he saw two goats copulating. He did not see that he was at the edge of the
road. Mabuti may wire fence. Hindi na daw siya titingin.
Sana maulit.... Salamat sa nagplano ng ride na ito at nag execute and nag sponsor.
Who were there: Engr June, VM, Sec Noe, Ado Ocampo, Gerry Y, Gerry Cataps, Pres Luis, Boks G, Jess V, Jimmy, Joel, Me Engr June. Jeffrey, Exequiel Diego, and Angel Balubar

This guy, Bert, born in Marinduque biked solo evening to Lucena to go home to Marinduque
Wheels of Happiness

March 30, 2017
This guy Bert who hails from Marinduque, made kuwento that he went home to Marinduque via Cavinti Luisiana, Tayabas and Lucena up to Dalahican a couple of weeks ago to go home and attend high school reunion. He left at 4 pm and arrived 11 pm in Lucena city, in time for the 11:;30 trip. He encountered rains in Cavinti but he went on. He just relied on his bike mounted LED lamp for his illumination. Imagine that, night ride. solo. We could not even ride that well during day time.
But he went home solo and at night.
He did not even go home to their house in Marinduque. He went straight to the reunion. and then later on went home again. Solo.
Isnt that great.?
This guy even catches fish diving the murky waters of Laguna Lake (he could see the fish) and stay underwater for 5 minutes. Wow.
