We cant simply say old age as the cause.  For everything there is a reason says a Bible verse.   So what re the causes?  (and therefore what to watch for and avoid)

     1.  heart disease

     2.  falls.

     3.  chronic respiratory disease

     4.  stress, diet, lack of mental stimulation of the brain  (brain health), social isolation

     5.   strokes

Conventional wisdom suggests that air pollution causes that only respiratory diseases like asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema (COPD) are caused air pollution (dirty air)

But there are increasing literature, research, findings that link air pollution and heart diseases (CVD - cardiovascular diseases).

So be careful when biking at highly polluted areas, or when a smoke belcher overtakes you. You could get heart disease.
