Our bike ride to Ternate last Sunday December 1, 2013 was our finest, defining moment

Wheels of Happiness

Angono, Rizal Philippine  | December 5, 2013

Up to now my thighs and body are complaining of pains, a result of last Sunday's ride.  I made an earlier post that was our most challenging, most technical climb.  Gerry and the rest at FB would like to think so.

Compared to various rides:

1.  Real is l00 km ride, there are hill climbs, but we rode the first 100 km one way, spent the night there and road back the following day;

2. Same with Baguio.  We rode 200 km one way up to Urdaneta  slept there and rode Baguio, 40 km away the follwing day.

3.  Bitukang Manok.  That is over 150 km one way, we ride up to Bitukang Manok the last 5 km as the most challenging hard part.

But Ternate was 80 km ride flat one way, 20 km difficult like climbing up Kennon road or Bitukang Manok (but were looking false flat) (total 100 km) ride back the 20 km hard ride and ride back to Angono.  Nothing matched was like it.

That ride separated the boys from men, and showed who were real men.  Real Cyclists

That was our finest moment.  Congratulations everyone.

How do you rate the Ternate ride of December 1, 2013

Wheels of Happiness

How do you rate this ride compared to our technical/difficult climbs:    Sierra Madre, Baguio, Bitukang Manok?

I feel as my thighs and my body scream in pain since Sunday evening, be similar to Kennon Road, or Bitukang Manok ride.

What do your thighs and your body say?

Long Ride today to Ternate Cavite, December 1, 2013

Wheels of Happiness

Angono, Rizal, PHL   |  December 1, 2013

Only 23 days before Christmas.  Merry Christmas every one.   Word has it that we will bike today to Ternate Cavite.  We will start assembly at 4:30 today, and leave for Taytay by 5:00 am, leave 5:30 am for the long ride.

I am just trying to make a post today, because the only communication that I got, the text last night came when I was about to sleep.

I think it is just as far as the Lemery ride and more flat.  I did not get enough mileage after the Tagaytay ride.

Cavite request from Gerry at RJ eatery - he got Laguna instead

Real Cyclists

We had fun as we ate at RJ eatery at GMA (near Wilcon) because there was videoke at the eatery.  And all we had to do was give 5 pesos to the one singing.  Gerry requested for Cavite (by Sampaguita) and the singer, in a very passionate way belted out Laguna.  She even asked Jorgeusbiker to shout out Laguna.

The singer admired the physique and muscles of the riders.
