Late posting of Chawa view deck - report by Jorgeustraveler

Wheels of Happiness

Rizal Philippines | February 18, 2015

The marker with destroyed solar tower at Chawa view deck

These are late posting of pics from Chawa view .  It comes about 5 km from Basco Batanes passing by coast off China Sea (sorry guys from the govt - better use West Philippine Sea) through zig zag roads. It is before the town of Mahatao This makes for great biking experience too.  (Many Batans own bikes)  It is expensive to ride tricycles in Batanes.  It is either you walk or bike

From the Hill, you walk 360 steps down to the  sea edge. It si a little scary and can take your breath away.  This was on our third day (last day) of the guided tour  -  January 26, 2015

Beware of Jersey Slashers along the Teresa Route

Real Cyclists

Angono, Rizal  PHL  |   October 7, 2013

Ado Gonzaga's story on the back pocket slasher at Teresa

Ado warns of the back pocket slashers along the Teresa route along zigzag.  The MO is this:   the kids who make appear signs and shake your hands distract you and somebody slashes your back pocket at the jersey.  The contents of back pocket spill and the elderly mastermind picks up the valuables:   camera, cellphone, wallet. etc.

VM warned us of this danger at a post he made at FB sometime last month.

The companions of Drew Arellano were alleged victims and were subject of "Investigador" by Mike Enriquez.

What evil thing they will think of next?  This is just a water vapor in the bucket though compared to the PDAF and DAP.

Some suggest that we bring guns;  but it is gun ban.  Some merely suggest to avoid Teresa as a route
