Happy birthday Gerry
This rider unexpectedly joined Idol (Ed Valdez) and Angel Balubar in a bike ride to Real Quezon (up to the cell site tower after about a mile long steep ascent after the quarry.
I started out with a plan to only ride to Morong and probably join the group up to Pisong Kape. I joined Master after brief stop at Sacred Heart Parish in Tayuman. He was on ride/spinning mode and was in no hurry. We ended up in Morong at about 7+ am. It was the birthday of Gerry Y and all the lugaw and mountain dew were on him.
Happy Birthday, Gerry (he said the age is a secret)

Recyclists 2010 Real Ride, April 8 to 9, 2012
Bike and Save the Earth
At 6:34, we said our prayers for safety, to keep us safe from harm, note the time
I was hesitant to join this bike ride for Real Quezon: it is scheduled on Easter Sunday and will not be able to complete my religious obligation. April 9, the following day is the 61st birthday and the celeb would be in a 5 star hotel and the payments have been made. Anymay I made my plans that I would ride in the afternoon (no overnight again) or leave early at 5 am to make it to the l0 am departure for the hotel or ride the bus until Morong.
Who were there:
23 guys answered the starting gun: VM, Luis, Tito, Ben, Jorgeusbiker, Gerry, Allan, Angel, Netoy, Jemrex, Jeffrey, Jayjay, Zapanta bros: Armin and Archie, Tito, June F, Edgar, Papa Ric (they met us at Morong), Peter A, Smith (up to Famy only) Nolite, Master, Nanding,, Joel and Richard.
Nolite, Gerry (ang nangaliwa!? Allan, Netoy
Smith knows it wrong Who Does not Join (sounds Judas) so he caught up at Pisong Cafe
The odd man is Jeffrey, friend of Ben, a strong biker
Nanding would rather drive the team vehicle
Groupings were formed so as not to get lost
The Recyclists were divided into 4 groups, l to 4 and team leaders were myself for group l (we were the host). The purpose of the groupings were: to support team members especially if there were safety or repair issues, so that the riders would be motivated: if they have the same skill level, and to prevent members from getting lost (as was the case in Tagaytay ride where people) went to Laguna instead of going to Cavite.
The briefing was done at Pisong Kape, unfortunately, some people did not listen? Result? We had a casualty, Netoy got lost.
First pit stop was at Pisong Kape
No egg hunting, quick breakfast at Pisong Kape
Groups taking off, we were the sweeper
Netoy was a casualty, he got lost, the group system failed !
Pit stops:
Total distance of the ride as per Google maps was 98.2 km (up to town proper but 92 up to Baywatch) Pit stops were at Pisong Kape, (pt 30 km) Famy (30 km) and Llavac.( thats 32 km but all going uphill) Up to Famy means going up Bugarin.
At Pisong Cafe in Pililla
At 7-ll, just completed in Famy
Ben, Master, Gerry, Allan, Richard, Joel, Smith and Jemrex Mariposa
Tito, Boy, and Vm
Almost near Llavac; Ben and Jorgeus biker took shelter; it rained hard
Ben worrying about his clit, it kept getting loose; the solution was a screw!
The team vehicle stopped because of heavy rains
The rains just stopped suddenly, as quickly as it started
Papa Ric remounting his bike
Papa Ric and Mang Boy slugging it out, Papa Ric also rode in the service vehicle

The Real Men last August 29, 20ll
Have bike, we will help save the earth...
I joined the Real Men in their ride to where else? Real Quezon last August 29,20ll. There were four of us: Alan, Gerry, Weng, and I. There were other guys we met at 7:00 am at Maybancal. But they were not Real Men. They were JJ men (jalajala men) and could not bear the idea of riding l00 km out and back. without any back up/team vehicle.
We were at Bugarin by 8:00 am and at Famy by 9:00 am.
We were at Km l00 by about ll:00 and at Llavac at ll:30. We had lunch at ll:30 to l2;00. We were down at Famy by 2:00 pm (a much faster and shorter ride) We were at Mabitac by 2:40, and at Bugarin by 300 pm. I was in Angono by 5:l5.
We experienced 3 rains going up to Real; 3 rains going down, and l heavy rains at Bugarin
Until today, all my body is painful and sore. It was a real ride for real men. I could not imagine myself doing it. Most of our far away distance ride had team vehicle. Yesterday, we did not have any. We thought we would have it overnight - but we had commitments.
