Staying alive and strong

Wheels of Happiness

This post has been consistently riding at least 3x a week mostly hill climbs to be fit and stay alive.   I bike going East to Mambog and Cardona,  and North to Antipolo via  Tikling or  Cabrera,  in Angono, Domsa and  Quarry Road.    These climbs make me perspire and follow the  Sound of Music  song "  Climb every mountain"

Every mountain is a challenge and a goal.  What is your mountain?

Theme Song for MTB - "Climb Every Mountain"

Climb Every Mountain

I just happened to watch Sound of Music the other day at Resort World.  One of the finest moment in the play was the singing of "Climb Every Mountain"   The singing was forceful and inspired.

May I suggest that this be the theme song of Mt. bikers - "CLIMB EVERY MOUNTAIN"
Wont it be nice.

Sound of Music Play at Resort World

Sound of Music

Watching the Sound of Music Musicale last night, date of Immaculate Conception, at Resort World is a welcome diversion.  It was raining hard last night.  I thought that the play would be better than the movie, and that live performance would beat Julie Andrews voice.  But it would not be so.( It is still within the domain of entertainment and recreation right, of which biking is a part?  Right???)

The Philharmonic orchestra playing was flawless and world class.  The actress who did Maria was OK.  But she could have been thinner and more tomboyish.  Von Trapp childrens acting and singing was great.  Jorg Von Trapp hulk was needing.  But also had great acting.  Since photos and video were prohibited, please see some pictures at the venue:
